Amazing new site which allows you to broadcast yourself live, produce and open a studio. the new You Tube! Everything from teen shows from Brazil to beach cams!

Producers can use the Mogulus browser-based Studio application to create LIVE, scheduled and on-demand internet television to broadcast anywhere on the web through a single player widget.

You can also broadcast live from your phone (what will this do to TV news channels?) and also have interactive chat on your broadcast – say in cooking shows ask about the method etc

lets see how someone spoils it with loads of ads!

Google “Behind The Screen”

Saturday night SBS aired a doccumentray by Dutch filmmakers and the SBS featuring high level executives being questioned on Google, its policies, success and workplace inner workings.

Things I thought it displayed well was their way of getting intelligent people into their workforce, one being a billboard which was a number theory problem that only the calibre of people they wanted working there would solve and once solved if they typed it into their URL they were taken to the Google job ads page.

 

It tried to address issues such as biased information distribution and the big brother theory but when asking execs on this,  alot of them avoided serious questions. One huge avoidance was Vint Cerf when they questioned him on manipulation of information he threw the question right back to the makers of the program explaining even they could manipulate the documentary by edititing it to suit their own view on Google. Smart

It did do a very good job of showing Google as a cool place to work with people playing beach volleyball and cool desk space areas and pools, spas and massages. What a perfect job ad for them!

Did I learn anything new? No – it just comfirmed for me their domination.
